Call for Submissions: Juried Photography Exhibition – “Touched” June 12-July 30, 2026

We are delighted to announce an open call to Ohio Residents for submissions to our upcoming juried photographic exhibition, themed “Touched” at the Tri-C Gallery East Campus. Artists who are eager to explore the profound, evocative, and multi-dimensional nature of this theme are invited to participate.

About the Theme: “Touched”

“Touched” is a theme that resonates with possibility. It can evoke the physical—the gentle brush of a hand, the embrace of a loved one, the fleeting contact between strangers. Yet, it also speaks to the emotional and the intangible: the heart stirred by memory, the soul moved by beauty, or the lives altered by unseen forces.

We encourage you to dig beneath the obvious interpretations. What does it mean to be touched by a moment, a place, a person, or an idea? Consider the marks left by time, the impressions of loss or joy, the subtle gestures that shape our human experience.

Submission Guidelines

•       Eligibility: Submissions are open to Northeast Ohio artists of all levels.
•       Theme Adherence: All submitted works must relate to the theme “Touched.” We invite both literal and abstract interpretations. Surprise us with your vision.
•       Medium: “Photographic” works in all styles and formats are accepted: digital, analog, black & white, color, manipulated images, and AI.
•       Number of Entries: Each artist may submit up to three(3) images for consideration.
•       Nudity: We will be accepting artful and non-explicit nude images for this show. Final decisions for acceptance will be by the Curator and/or Tri-C gallery staff.
•       Maximum Framed Width is 30 inches
•       Tri-C will receive a 20% fee for work sold.

• Upload your images and title
• File Name Format: NameFirstLast_Title_Price/NFS.jpeg
• Include your contact information.
• Submission Format: Images must be submitted in high-resolution JPEG format
• Minimum 3000 pixels on the longest side, 76dpi. Maximum 10MB file size.
• Indicate whether you are willing to sell your work, and if so, provide pricing details.
• Submission Fee: No fee for up to (3) images. Cash donation appreciated at dropoff.
• Work must be labelled on the back with title, artist name, and price or NFS (Not For Sale).
• Tri-C Gallery East will provide exhibition labels.
• All images must be framed, wired and ready to hang.

•       Submission Deadline: Friday, May 1, 2026
•       Notification of Acceptance: Monday, May 18, 2026
•       Drop Off Dates at Tri-C: June 3rd 11am-4pm and June 4th 2-7pm
•       Exhibition Opening and Reception: Friday, June 12, 2026  6-8pm
•       RBPC Meeting and Mini-Artist Discussion at Tri-C: Saturday, July 11, 2026, 12-3pm
•       Show Ends: Thursday,  July 30, 2026
•       Pickup Work: Saturday, August 1, 2026
